1. Noise-Canceling Headphones
Noise-canceling headphones are a LIFE SAVER. I don’t know what I would do without mine sometimes.
If you or a loved one struggles with sensory overload or gets overwhelmed when the kids start being too loud or the TV gets turned up full blast, this gift is for you!
Now, just so you know, these headphones do not cancel out ALL noise. So no need to worry about your kids needing you and you not hearing them or not being able to engage in a conversation. These headphones tone everything way down to a more manageable level.
I personally have used the Loop brand so that is what I will recommend here. They have 3 different tiers which I will cover more in-depth in a later post but I currently have the Loop Quiets and they work great!
Here are the links to the Loop Quiet, Loop Engage, and Loop Experience.
2. Weighted Blanket
Weighted blankets are also great gift ideas for the ADHD people in your life.
People with ADHD often struggle with calming down and self-regulating on a daily basis. Weighted blankets help by causing our bodies to release serotonin and dopamine which is the calming chemicals in our brains that we are deficient in. It can also increase melatonin output as well!
Occupational therapists often recommend trying out a weighted blanket to help curb symptoms of ADHD, autism, sensory processing disorder, and more!
Side note: When picking a weighted blanket the recommended weight is 5% to 12% of your body weight. Make sure you pay attention to this when ordering! Most people tend to prefer 10% of their body weight and find it most helpful.
Here is a link to a weighted blanket that comes in multiple colors and sizes.
3. Productivity Timer
Productivity timers are another fantastic tool for ADHD!
Often we get distracted from our tasks or end up hyperfixating on our tasks and getting lost in time. However, WE DON’T HAVE TO!
Some of the new timers they have come out with recently make it SUPER easy to stay on track and complete what we need to do.
The Znewtech hexagon timer is the coolest thing. When standing straight up it is a regular clock but you can rotate it to any of the preset timers and it automatically starts to count down your chosen time. It displays the time countdown on the screen once it is rotated and has high, low, and silent alarm options.
The second timer I would recommend is by Pihen and is similar to the first. It has 6 preset timers but also has the option to set a custom timer and the ability to count up by flipping it bottom up.
4. Bullet Journal
Bullet journals are great gift ideas for those artistic ADHDers in your life.
Journaling in general really helps to purge your mind of all of those thoughts you have swirling around all day. It can help you organize your thoughts as well as help you start identifying the things that bring you joy or things that bring chaos.
Bullet journals allow for full creativity to flow. You can use stickers, colored pens, tape, or many other options to get the look you want. It can be set up however you want with numerous pages, trackers, or spreadsheets to help you be your most productive self.
Even if you aren’t the most creative, you can find HUNDREDS of set-up ideas online by doing a simple search.
Here is a bullet journal set that come with everything you need to get started!
5. Adult Coloring Book and Colored Pencils
This may seem like a funny gift for an adult but I promise it is not!
Coloring is a great mindfulness activity that I mentioned in my mindfulness post earlier. Sometimes it is beneficial to just take time to do something that has no purpose other than to bring you joy and relax your mind.
Here are a few options!
6. Meal Planner
Ahhh. The meal planner is a gift every ADHD mom needs in her life.
I don’t know about you but I HATE figuring out my meals the day of. It’s just one more step that I don’t want to do.
By having a meal planner, you can set a designated time to sit down and plan out meals. You can plan meals out for a week or for the whole month!
I will cover meal planning more in-depth in its own post but for now, here is a link for a meal planning notepad and a meal planning dry erase board!
7. Hobby Supplies for Current Hyperfixation
Every ADHD person has a hobby of some sort that could be turned into a great gift idea.
What do they talk about? What interests them? I personally love to crochet so I can always ask for yarn or something like that for a quick and easy gift idea.
Do they like to paint? Sew? Draw? If you don’t know, just ask! Everyone always loves to get more supplies for their stash.

Another helpful feature on some smartwatches is the guided breathing exercises. These can help you calm and center yourself in the moment. Linked below are a couple of the best smartwatches for ADHD and a slightly cheaper option as well.
The first is an Amazfit BIP 3, the second is a Fitbit Versa 3, and the third is a Fitbit Sense 2.
